This was a commission quilt made for a boy who liked anything related to transportation and cowboys.

I designed this quilt with variations of motorcycle and car fabric surrounded by a traditional gray and white 9 patch. For the center patch, I cut out a motorcycle, surrounded it with license plate fabric and framed it with white fabric. Each square is 6” x 6”.

I quilted this on my longarm machine using an edge to edge pattern called Brush Fire from Urban Elementz. I used a burnt orange thread for the flames!
