This pattern is called Pop Stars by Missouri Star Quilt Company. I used Farm House Red fabrics from Moda Fabrics and coordinated the stars with the color Earth from Kona Cotton.

I made quick work of sewing the star’s “legs” by chain piecing them assembly line style.

I quilted this on my longarm machine using an edge to edge quilt pattern called Lollipop Rose from Urban Elementz.

I added 2 borders to frame out the stars.

The backing is the same fabric as the outer border, Red Prairie Cotton.
